PSB Pick Play: FOX Bet Boosting Steelers and Claypool Parlay vs. Division Rival Browns

The coming out party was held last week.

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie receiver Chase Claypool torched the intrastate Eagles for 110 receiving yards and four total touchdowns (one rushing). Claypool, a 6′-4″ Canadian native who played collegiately at Notre Dame, is becoming a big weapon for the Steelers.

And if both Claypool and the Steelers succeed this Sunday in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns, you could end up with some extra cash. FOX Bet is boosting a special parlay wager featuring Claypool to +300 odds. If Claypool scores and the Steelers win, the bet pays out four times your money.

In this week’s installment of Penn SportsbooksPick Play, we’ll cover some of the special wagers for Pittsburgh’s Rust Belt rivalry game with the Browns, along with a rundown of all the available odds at the best PA sportsbooks.

Steelers installed as a four-point favorite at FOX Bet

In case the Myles GarrettMason Rudolph helmet-swinging melee from last season didn’t provide enough intrigue for Sunday’s game, both the Browns and Steelers are off to hot starts this season.

Cleveland (4-1) has won four straight after a poor performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week One. And the Steelers (4-0) are undefeated, boasting a high-powered offense that has scored at least 26 points in every game this season.

Pittsburgh is a four-point favorite in Sunday’s game at FOX Bet (currently -3.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook), with a moneyline price of -188. The Browns are +160. The game, which will be broadcast at 1 p.m. on CBS, has an over/under total of 50.5 points.

Custom bets for Steelers/Browns can bring much bigger returns

FOX Bet’s sportsbook features an extensive list of custom bets for every NFL game. The Steelers/Browns clash has 44 at press time, many of which will bring a healthy return.

For example, a wager on both Ben Roethlisberger and Baker Mayfield to eclipse 300 passing yards has +500 odds. The entire list is worth a look for those hoping to hit it big on Sunday’s game.

Eagles/Ravens also add to Week 6 slate

Another game featuring regional rivals will add even more spice to the NFL’s Sunday schedule. The Philadelphia Eagles are 7.5-point underdogs against the Baltimore Ravens in a game Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. FOX Bet has the Eagles at +280 on the moneyline and the game’s total is listed at 47.5. The Ravens are -350.

FOX Bet has 48 custom bets for the game at press time. There’s also a boosted wager with +400 odds for the Eagles to score in every quarter. A $10 bet on that would bring $50 in return.

DraftKings, FanDuel also have intriguing promotions for Week Six

Over at DrafKings, a boosted wager pays out +200 if the Steelers, Ravens, and Colts all win this week. All three are more than a field-goal favorite in their games.

And at FanDuel, there are a few different options. One of them provides a refund of up to $10 for players who make multiple same-game parlays. Here’s the fine print:

  • Promotion applies to Same Game Parlays made before kickoff on Sunday and Monday (Oct. 18-19)
  • Participants must place multiple Same Game Parlays (refund applies to the first loss)
  • Max refund is $10
  • Same game parlay must have a minimum of three legs
  • Final price of Same Game Parlay must be +200 or greater

New users can also get the Kansas City Chiefs with a 25-1 moneyline price for their game with the Buffalo Bills. The max bet is $5.

Despite some scheduling changes, the NFL’s wagering options remain plentiful

It’s no secret that the NFL has encountered some challenges because of coronavirus outbreaks among its teams. The Titans, Patriots, and Falcons have all been affected by positive tests. But a quick look at the Week 6 schedule reveals numerous opportunities for NFL wagers.

There are nine games starting at 1 p.m. alone. There’s a huge showdown between two Rust Belt teams. And another regional rivalry on the opposite side of the state.

Both of the games feature boosted bets and ample opportunities for action. Some of them feature rookie receiver Chase Claypool.

And you probably remember him.
