The saying goes, “good things come to those who wait.” That will be the case for the luxury hotel coming here to Muckleshoot Casino. But, we promise, it’ll be worth it.
In order to realize the full scope of our vision, a new timeline for the opening of the 18-story, 400-room tower has been announced.
While the original plan called for the resort to be revealed in 2021, a new timeline of 2022 is now official. This will allow for more in-depth design choices and programming enhancements.
“For us, a hotel is more than walls and beds. We’re constructing a resort dedicated to all the spaces in-between. The ones that will allow our guests to escape, indulge and connect,” states General Manager Conrad Granito. “To that end, we are committed to fully vetting these concepts to ensure we captivate our guests no matter where they are on property.”
The largest gaming destination in the Pacific Northwest, Muckleshoot Casino has come a long way since its humble tent beginnings. Now, we’ll celebrate our 25th silver anniversary with a new milestone: the completion of the first phase of our expansion.
Launched just shy of a year ago in March 2019, the ongoing transformation has already introduced remodeled sections of gaming floor, renovated restrooms, a trio of new fast-casual dining destinations, and more.
Phase one will culminate this April with the debut of the Muckleshoot Events Center, offering 20,000 feet of technologically advanced function space that can easily transition from a first-class concert venue to an expansive exhibit hall, corporate gala, intimate wedding, and more. Bookings are already underway, and upcoming entertainment acts will be announced in the near future.
When the second phase of our expansion is fully revealed in 2022, the complete resort experience we’ve long envisioned for Muckleshoot Casino will come to life. This will include amenities such as an upscale rooftop restaurant, a climate-controlled indoor pool, spa services, accommodations featuring panoramas of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic mountain range, and more. The history and journey of the Muckleshoot Tribe will also be celebrated with a carefully curated cultural gallery.
