Norwich Set For a Grind at St Andrews
There have been several dull encounters featuring Coventry at St Andrews in recent weeks so we shouldn’t expect many goals this Wednesday night when the Sky Blues entertain Norwich.
All but one of Coventry’s last six games here have produced under 2.5 goals with four of those matches ending scoreless, and Mark Robins’ men will inevitably look to keep things tight in midweek against the league leaders.
Norwich halted their mini slump of three league games without a win via an emphatic 4-1 success over Stoke on Saturday, however, their previous four starts also produced less than three goals.
With three of the Canaries’ last four on the road and both meetings between the sides this term also generating less than 2.5, that’s our recommended bet for Wednesday’s action in the Midlands.
In terms of our correct score prediction, we’re giving preference to the visitors who will be buoyed by their weekend win and the shock defeat for promotion rivals Brentford at home to Barnsley. With Daniel Farke’s charges and a low scoring affair fancied, we’re tipping this one to finish 0-1.
