Atlantic City Gears Up for the Biggest Game of the Year

Atlantic City casinos are ready to welcome more guests back to expanded amenities after

state eases COVID-19 restrictions

Atlantic City, NJ – The Atlantic City Casinos are geared up and ready for the Big Game after the State of New Jersey eased COVID-19 restrictions, allowing more fans to enjoy the game in a safe and responsible way. Atlantic City will offer action-packed events, as guests watch the reigning Champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday, February 7.

“We are excited to welcome more fans back to watch to the Big Game, while enjoying expanded amenities in our great city,” said Steve Callender, President of the Casino Association of New Jersey. “While the state’s decision to ease COVID-19 restriction gives us renewed optimism about the road to recovery, we must remain vigilant with regard to the health and safety of our employees, guests and residents.”

Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 219 lifted the 10pm closing restriction and increased indoor dining capacity from 25 percent to 35 percent, allowing Atlantic City casinos to offer a variety of events for fans to enjoy during and after the Big Game. The casino floor remains open 24-hours a day, and now food and beverages services can be available throughout the evening and overnight hours.

“The resumption of indoor dining and beverage service after 10pm is essential in providing our guests the exciting experience they have come to expect from our first-class properties. Dining after 10pm is very common in a city like Atlantic City and will provide a much-needed economic boost and bring back more jobs to the city,” added Callender. “While COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on New Jersey’s families, as well as our state and local economy, we are now focused on getting people back to work and revitalizing the economic health of our communities.”

In preparation for a safe and exciting game day, the casinos are offering numerous events, food and beverage specials, as well as premier sports books, including:
